goIT.ca Ltd. respects your right to privacy on the Internet and in every aspect of your life. We will never disclose individually identifiable information about users of this website or its products or its services to any third party without first receiving that user’s permission. We voluntarily adhere to the principles prescribed by the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and take measures to ensure that all staff and any associated businesses or partners are fully aware of the law and our insistence on being compliant in every aspect of our business. goIT.ca has designated Kristopher Curtiss Chorneychuk, B.A., CEO and president of goIT Ltd. goIT does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) about any visitors to this website nor do we use any cookies on our site. While providing Privacy Solutions for an organization, there will be certain information required to properly identify and assess exactly what (security and /or information) issues must be addressed. Any information collected (necessary to invoice a sale, for instance, will be asked for beforehand and is completely voluntary. goIT.ca uses Privacy Policy information, guidelines, questionnaires and templates found at PIPEDA.net, and is fully compliant with current Canadian Privacy Legislation for private sector business. Any information we collect, store, or use is the bare minimum needed to provide the product(s) and/or service(s) which we have been requested to provide. Any such information is fully accessible to the customer at any time, and is destroyed immediately upon completion and payment of requested product(s) and/or service(s) and / or termination of goIT's services. While in our possession (and only for those purposes identified above), this information is not accessible to any unauthorized parties because only 1 (one) computer and 1 (one) notepad is used gather and store any and all personally identifiable information (PII) and this computer is not part of a network nor connected to the Internet. Both computer and notepad are always kept in a locked room at an office of undisclosed address or actually carried by the authorized Privacy Officer responsible for delivering the respective solution (and only for those purposes identified above). Any emails received are transferred to this computer or notepad (if necessary) using a physical usb key or dvd-ram and then promptly deleted.
goIT may collect and analyse general site activity or statistics such as hit counts or visits by time or day or region. This information is captured in aggregate form only and can therefore only be analysed as such. Information in the public domain - such as telephone directories or business card details - is not covered under PIPEDA; by using goIT.ca or any of its products or services you agree that information such as website hit counts for goIT.ca and /or any demographic or non-identifiable information included (for example) in such a traffic analyses of this website may be collected, analysed, and or shared at any time without any further consent. Any further information and any personally identifiable information provided to goIT is provided optionally and will only be used for those purposes identified above.
goIT strives to keep any information (temporarily or otherwise) in our possession as safe, current, and accurate as possible and upon request any individual shall be informed of the existence, use, retention, disclosure, and/or deletion procedures regarding his/her personal information and given access to this information in its entirety.
